LEANNA GUTIERREZ CUMBER

LeAnna Cumber began her transportation career in the U.S. Senate as a transportation and homeland security staffer. During this time, she was pivotal in the passage of an aviation security provision related to flight schools as well as a cruise line security provison inserted into the Intelligence Act of 2004. She also negotiated provisions pertinent to Florida in SAFETEA-LU, the 2004 surface transportation legislation. She then worked in the U.S. Department of Transportation Office of Inspector General's legal and legislative office. Before starting her own firm she worked at Baker Botts LLP in the government relations group. LeAnna holds a J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. She is a member of the California State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar.
